I’m hosting on Saturday the 29th of June from 2-5pm (GMT) a 3 hours workshop dedicated to work with common rush. We will process the fibres from plant to cordage in a 3 hours period.

It will be a group workshop hosted via online live video conferencing Zoom.

You will need to forage a bundle of rush yourself in advance to have material available to work with.

I have written the first issue of my substack journal Fibre Focus dedicated to Rush. Please read it before attending so that you are familiar with what we are going to do together.

This workshop is suitable for beginners.

The long-awaited workshop I am now ready to offer online, especially to those who could not come and attend my physical workshops in person before due to geographical distance or other obstacles to accessibility.

This offer is resulting from a frequent request to guide others, share my knowledge and experience as well as offer practical support to those who wish to get started on their journey with foraged fibres.

This booking is for a 1:1 hour-long (60 minutes) tailor-made workshop online via Zoom. The session will be held via a live video call between the host (Hanna Varga) and the participant (you) which will be recorded and you will receive a copy of the recording to download afterwards.

You will learn how to process your foraged fibres and also how to begin making cordage from them. I will be available throughout this workshop to assist you and answer your questions.
