Hanna Varga is a Hungarian-born sculptor based in the UK, living and working in rural Derbyshire. Her creative practice is informed by close contact with the landscape, tactile dimensions, motherhood and pilgrimage. She cultivates a sustainable art practice, nurturing a caring relationship with the more-than-human world - focusing on traditional craftsmanship, currently centred around rope making, braiding and knot tying using foraged plant fibres.
