3 July - Nettle Fibre Workshop #1 - Edale
Nettle Fibre Workshop in Edale
This July I’m offering a new series of workshops focusing on nettles. Part of this workshop will take place outdoors and part of it at the Village Hall in Edale.
We are going to forage the nettles outside (within walking distance from the workshop venue) and then fresh process them (indoors) to extract the fibres suitable for cordage/rope making.
max. 15 participants
you will receive full instructions & support to throughout the foraging & nettle fibre processing.
The workshop is 3 hours in total on a Friday afternoon (2-5pm) with a tea/coffee break at 3.30pm.

All tools and materials are provided during the workshops and you can take home with you what you all the foraged nettle fibres you gathered and processed.
All abilities are welcome, both more experienced crafters and those who are complete beginners at making things by hand. I am confident to meet you right where you are, help you get started and tailor the workshop to suit your skill level.
I look forward to teaching these hybrid foraging & plant fibre processing workshops for the first time focusing on a particular specie this summer.
