In the last 15 minutes of our meeting I proposed to try and teach you a knot to tie as an introduction to the wonderful art of knot tying, which is the basis of the Boatswain’s Whistle Lanyard Knot and is also known as the Carrick Bend. As promised at the end before we said our goodbyes, please find below photos I’ve taken from two different knotting books, both written by master ropemaker Des Pawson. May these helps you learning this knot.
